SUPERINTENDENT'S REPORT: Athletic Director Randy Tevepaugh spoke on the district's athletic successes in Fall Sports and introduced Football Coach Pete Thompson. The football team won the MAC championship and advanced deep into the playoffs. The team posted a record 12 wins during the season and advanced as far as ever in the school's history. Three members of the team were named to the All-Ohio First Team.

An initiative to create a sporting Wall of Fame will recognize more student-athletes. Not everyone will be named to the school Hall of Fame. The Athletic Department is making the articles and criteria for the Wall of Fame recognition. The plan is to get Board approval in time to begin implementation in August 2025.

A second initiative is underway to recognize Streetsboro School's active military personnel and veteran graduates. Veterans and active military personnel will be recognized at Streetsboro sporting events and invited to a year-end dinner. Nomination forms are being sent out and will be sent to the committee to select the honorees.

Small group meetings are being held as part of the Strategic Planning process, and input is being gathered from the community.

TREASURER'S REPORT: The general fund is financially solvent. Due to recent property appraisals, the district expects to receive an additional $100,000 in taxes next year.

CHIEF BUSINESS OFFICER REPORT: Business Officer CJ Scarpino was absent. Superintendent Deevers gave the CBO report on Mr. Scarpino's behalf. The district made around $2,800 for the first community concert featuring a TSO cover band. —revenues are expected to improve with the next show and as the concert series becomes more established. Streetsboro music students can participate in some of these events.

New technology is being installed in schools. A Zoom app is being installed so that messages from any district phone can activate strobe lights and emit building-wide announcements. The strobe lights can be set up to use different colors to designate various forms of emergency. Strobes are not in the classroom. They go off in the hallways and outside the buildings. Voice messages go to the individual classrooms. Laketech is doing the installations and building by building. Permanent Improvement funds are being used to cover the installation and equipment for Laketech technology.

It is time for an RFP for food service, and the district is currently evaluating different vendors.
The Maplewood dining room has reopened.

BOARD REPORTS: The boys' basketball team went to Solon and spent time assisting special needs students with basketball drills. The band has a concert this week.
