Physicians for Social Responsibility PA, the League of Women Voters of PA, and the Department of Environmental and Energy Engineering at Duquesne University invite you to the 2025 Shale Gas and Public Health Conference: New Directions, a cornerstone of the LWVPA Straight Scoop on Shale educational initiative since 2013. This conference will bring together scientists, public health experts, industry leaders, and advocacy groups to explore the latest research and insights on unconventional oil and gas development, its environmental impact and associated health risks, and community wins and responses.

The 2025 Shale Gas and Public Health Conference: New Directions is free to attend but registration is required. Recordings from the conference will also be made available on our website: www.shalepalwv.org.

When: February 27, 2025, 9:00am - 4:30pm, with lunch and light refreshments provided, followed by a social hour
