The Women’s Club of Delaware County will hold its First Year Anniversary/Awards Dinner Tuesday, April 21, 2026 from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM at the Banquet Room of the Royal Diner, 106 E Baltimore Ave, Lansdowne PA.

The mission of the Women’s Club of Delaware County is to enhance the lives of other's through volunteer service, create positive change in communities, advocate for victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence, promote, education, healthy lifestyles, and civic involvement, supports the arts and preserve natural resources, work toward peace and understanding.

The awardees are being recognized for their contributions to their communities. Our League of Women Voters (LWV) of Central Delaware County (CDC) is being honored for our work and mission to Empower Voters and Defend Democracy and accepting the award is Anne Mosakowski, President.

Visit us at Delaware County Community College Marple Campus, Tuesday, April 28, 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM located off Media Line Road and Route 252 in Marple Township 901 S. Media Line Road Media, Marple Township, PA 19063.

This event is part of our Delco Youth Voter Initiative which is a collaboration of nonpartisan organizations working to promote voting and civic engagement among the youth in Delaware County.

A webinar titled Unaffiliated Voters & Open Primaries: Trends and the Road Ahead in Pennsylvania is scheduled for Thursday, April 30, 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM via Zoom.
Presentation by Dr. Lara Putnam, UCIS Research Professor of History and Director of Global Studies Center at the University of Pittsburgh and guest speaker Andrew McGinley, Vice President of External Affairs at Committee of 70 will discuss trends in unaffiliated voters, along with an overview of the current state of open primary advocacy in Pennsylvania.

Calling all League members, you are invited to go to Harrisburg Wednesday, May 6, 2026 to lobby our local legislators. The League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania (LWVPA) will give you, the T-shirt, the talking points, a lunch voucher and the map of Pennsylvania's stunningly ornate capitol. It's worth the trip just to see it.

Legislative Advocate Jodine Mayberry will make appointments with four legislators to visit and will arrange transportation.

The League of Women Voters of Central Delaware County (LWVCDC) Annual Meeting is Wednesday, June 10 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Haverford Township Free Library, 1601 Darby Road Havertown, PA 19083. This is a FREE Member ONLY event but registration is required. The purpose of the Annual Meeting is to conduct the important business of our League of Women Voters and to celebrate our mission to Empower Voters and Defend Democracy.
