For 25 years, Detroiters have come together to fight for more and better public transit under the banner of Transportation Riders United, because transit is essential for a thriving Detroit.
Mark your calendar for September 25, 2025, to join decades of TRU members, allies, and champions to celebrate the amazing people who made tranist progress possible.
Event will be held at the Bellagio Banquet and Conference Center in Dearborn Heights.

Come and celebrate TRU's 25 years of service to the metro Detroit area! The evening will include a cocktail reception, a short program and a fun evening of networking, dinner and dancing.
There is plenty of parking (included in the ticket cost) and you can also get to the event via DDOT Route 8 and SMART Route 275.
Parking in the front and sides of the building should be used for those guests who have mobility challenges.
There is also parking behind the building with stairs leading to the building on the west (Telegraph Rd.) side of the parking lot.
