Did you know ever want to know how the fight for the right for women to vote started in the North and ended in Tennessee? This presentation will take you on America’s most transformative journey - at times sad, at times humorous - to women’s right to vote. That journey ended in Tennessee as the 36th state to confirm the 19th constitutional amendment. The journey is continuing in Knoxville with a Women’s Suffrage History Museum - scheduled to open in 2028. All of this from our resident scholar on women’s right and Founder of the Women’s Suffrage Coalition and Museum - Wanda Sobieski.
