- Voter Registration: Help us to assist citizens navigate the forms necessary to register to vote.
- Event Support: Voter Forums, Lunch with the League, meetings with local legislators all need assistance with planning, setup, and hospitality.
- Membership Welcome & Support: This committee strives to create welcoming pathways for all members to engage fully in LWVOR’s work and activities.
- Observer Corp program: Volunteers serve as impartial observers of the decisions made by the various boards and commissions within the City of Oak Ridge and Anderson County. While they do not participate in the proceedings, their role is vital—they attend meetings, take note of key actions and outcomes, and provide concise summaries for our monthly newsletter, The Voter. This helps keep our community informed and engaged in local governance.
