Afternoon Tea: Special Town Meeting Hot Topics

Join fellow LWVW members for a cup of tea and to discuss the issues coming to special town meeting, which commences on Monday, November 3rd. Special guests will be citizen petitioners, Anya Khera and Kourosh Farboodmanesh, and School Committee members Linda Chow and Niki Offenbach. Anya and Kourosh will share why they believe 17 year olds should be allowed to vote in Wellesley local elections. Linda and Niki will update us on plans for the Team Rooms at the Wellesley High School. Other town meeting articles are also open for discussion. To view the warrant, click here.
