They usually meet on Thursday or Friday, during business hours, after the election. You can sign up for a two-hour shift or more and will get the link to the website to do that.

League members across Michigan are asked to help observe the Board of Canvassers after the elections. They are a bipartisan group of four, plus the clerk, who receive the records from the precincts and review everything to ensure that all steps for a secure election have been taken. They do NOT count the votes. There is one board for each county. Our observers just sit and watch, we do not interact with them except for occasional brief process questions to better understand what they are doing. We have been received with cordial friendliness at these meetings which are open to the public. This a step League has been taking to help ensure that our voting system continues to work smoothly and help debunk any claims that there is tampering
