What are the cases, small and large, that are being tried on your behalf; the types of courts and their purpose; why are some courts under the DA office; what is happening with immigration in our county; what about ICE? Come and join us for an informative presentation and lively discussion by District Attorney General Dave Clark.
Dave Clark was elected District Attorney General in 2006 and again in 2014 on a platform of making our community safer. As District Attorney General, he has managed a criminal justice system that has seen a 43% reduction in crime. He founded a children’s advocacy center for child victims of physical and sexual abuse and has combated violent criminals, gangs and drug dealers. He has managed millions of dollars in public funds with ten consecutive clear annual financial audits.
The public is invited to attend the lunch and lecture between 11:15 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Oak Ridge Unitarian Universalist Church, 809 Oak Ridge Turnpike. All are welcome to bring their lunch or purchase a boxed lunch. Coffee and tea will be served. The presentation will begin at noon and end with questions and answers.
