We would like to invite you to attend this virtual forum that the Detroit League is sponsoring in partnership with the Detroit Public Library/Knapp Branch.  This collaboration presents monthly forums regarding voting rights, access, and issues relating to the voting process as well as providing education about government.

This presentation by Vernon Burton, professor of history and civil rights lawyer, Armand Derfner, co-authored a book, Justice Deferred: Race and the Supreme Court 2021 and several years ago did a presentation on their research and findings.  We hope that you will join us Feb. 10th on Zoom at 6:00pm.  This program is open to the public so feel free to share the information.  We will learn more about the history of voting access and the current situation.  For more information, email Jennifer Dye at jdye [at] detroitpubliclibrary.org
