Amber Sheerin of the Michigan Library Association will explore the role of the Michigan Library Association (MLA) and other similar organizations in influencing legislation and protecting the freedom to read.
Participants will gain insight into how advocacy efforts are coordinated and how library supporters can engage in the coordinated and how library supporters can engage in the legislative process.
