LWVMI ACTION ALERT: NATIONAL POPULAR VOTE

 The League of Women Voters of Michigan is asking you to contact your state Representative and Senator to urge them co-sponsor the bills being introduced to add Michigan to the National Popular Vote Compact.

 The National Popular Vote Compact ensures that the candidate with the most votes nationwide is elected U.S. President and ensures that every vote is counted equally.  

 "One person, one vote" should apply to our Presidential elections and Michigan can help make that happen.

 A majority of Michigan voters want to elect the President by popular vote.

 By co-sponsoring these bills your legislators will show their  commitment to get this legislation introduced and passed.
