In the August primary election, Wayne County voters will decide whether to expand public transit across the entire county.
Joel Batterman, Campaigns Manager for Transportation Riders United (TRU), will discuss what is included in this ballot proposal in the August primary election. He will also explain why this year's vote is so crucial for the future of the city and metropolitan area.

A Zoom link will be sent to registrants before the program. We routinely initiate Zoom auto-transcription. If you need further accommodation for accessibility, please notify the Knapp Branch Library by 4:00 p.m. Eastern the Thursday before the program. We will address your need if possible.
A recording will be posted on the Detroit Public Library YouTube channel and on lwvdetroit.org website a few weeks after the program.
