LWVDDH is partnering with NAACP Western Wayne County and the International Fuller Woman Network to sponsor a Candidate Forum with 12th Congressional District candidates. Confirmed candidates are Shanelle Jackson, Byron Nolen, and Rashida Tlaib. James Hopper, the Republican candidate, has been invited but has not responded yet.

 The format of the event will be: Opening remarks, introduction of moderator and candidates, debate, and closing remarks. NAACP member Cassie Jones-McBryde will moderate. Join community members for a nonpartisan public forum followed by a Q&A with all candidates.

 The event will be held at the Heights Event Center (4945 S. Beech Daly) from 5:00 - 6:30 pm with doors opening at 4:30 pm.  Event is open to the public.  All are welcome!
