Dear League members and friends:
As we prepare for the November 3 Midterm Elections, we need your help with two important projects: local candidate contact info and questions for upcoming candidate forums.
1. Vote411: We’re working to find current contact information for a number of local candidates so we can invite them to participate in our nonpartisan online voter guide, Vote411. If you have a contact for the candidates listed at the end of this email — or know how to reach one — please send the information to Julie Hubbard at jhubbard [at] cavote411.org.
2. Candidate forums: Questions for our candidate forums come from our community. Please consider questions you would like our candidates to answer, and send them to questions [at] lwvnevadacounty.org.
Questions must be appropriate for all candidates to answer. Keep your questions short and to the point. The League will review and edit questions as needed to ensure they are nonpartisan, clear, concise, and appropriate for all candidates.You can submit more than one question. Please send these at least five days prior to the forum.
All forums take place at 6 p.m. at the Rood Center, 950 Maidu Ave, Nevada City. You can watch the live feeds here, and replays will be available following each candidate forum.

- Thursday, Sept.24 - Grass Valley City Council
- Thursday, Oct. 1 - Grass Valley School District
