Don’t let special interests rewrite our voting rights. A constitutional convention would allow delegates to rollback voting rights Michigan voters approved, like same day voter registration, no-reason absentee voting, and early voting – vote NO on Prop 1.

Our voting rights aren’t up for grabs. Michigan is a national leader in secure and accessible elections thanks to the voters that fought hard to improve access to the ballot over the last decade. Our voting rights are already under attack on multiple fronts, a constitutional convention would put them at a greater risk and we won’t let that happen– vote NO on Prop 1.
Reproductive Freedom

Protect reproductive freedom. No matter who you are or where you live, you should have equal access to the healthcare you need--and that includes abortion. That’s why Michiganders voted in 2022 to enshrine the right to legal, safe abortion in our constitution. But a constitutional convention would take that decision out of the hands of voters and put countless Michiganders in harm’s way– vote NO on Prop 1.

Our rights aren’t up for grabs. Across the country we are seeing the deadly impact of the overturning of Roe v. Wade. We fought hard to secure reproductive freedom in Michigan’s constitution, and we shouldn’t reopen it to political attacks– vote NO on Prop 1.

Don’t let Big Tech rewrite the rules. A constitutional convention will allow Big Tech to spend hundreds of millions of dollars to get their delegates elected—to limit strict regulations on data centers, allowing them to pollute our water and air and pass high utility costs onto Michiganders– vote NO on Prop 1.

Protect the reforms Michiganders support. This November Michigan voters could pass Michiganders for Money Out of Politics (Proposal 2), to get big money out of politics. If it passes, a constitutional convention could reverse it by giving the same corporations–DTE, Consumers Energy, and Blue Cross, Blue Shield–that this initiative seeks to limit, greater influence over delegate selection and broad power to rewrite the constitution and overturn the will of voters– vote NO on Prop 1.

Protect our water, air, and energy bills. Regulating AI data centers and their impact on our air, water, and energy deserves careful and thoughtful public debate. A constitutional convention would give big tech companies the upper hand in shaping policy decisions while everyday Michiganders get left in the dark– vote NO on Prop 1.
