On September 22, 2026, the League of Women Voters of Michigan hosted a virtual forum with candidates running for Michigan’s Supreme Court in the November 3rd election.

Six candidates shared why they are running for the Michigan Supreme Court and answered questions from the League and members of the media. The following candidates joined the event: Chief Justice Megan Cavanagh, Justice Noah Hood, Judge Casandra Morse-Bills, Judge Michael D. Warren Jr., Mr. Thomas Howe and Ms. Jody White.The Michigan Supreme Court is the state’s court of last resort and its justices rule on important decisions that impact all voters.
