•  Candidate Forum for the State Senate Seat 110th District:

  Thursday, October 6, 2026 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm (Central Time) --- 6:30 pm-8:00 pm (Eastern Time)

  Candidates confirmed to attend:   Brian Irizarry, Greg Markkanen

  All forums will be held at Gogebic Community College, Room B21 in the Business Building, best accessed via door #12 from the north parking lot.

 The purpose of the candidate forums is to enable voters to hear directly from the candidates and question them about important issues before the Tuesday, November 3, 2026 general election.  

 The event format consists of the candidates making timed opening and closing statements, and answering written questions from the audience.

 Adhering to the League’s “empty-chair policy”, candidates who are not in attendance will have a statement provided by them read verbatim by the moderator, giving their reasons for not attending, if the statement is provided. An empty chair and candidate’s name placard will be positioned at the candidates’ table for any candidate not in attendance.
