Today is Election Hero Day! The League of Women Voters of California extends our sincere gratitude to the dedicated individuals who make democracy work across our state.
In an evolving elections landscape, our election officials, poll workers, and elections staff work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that every eligible voter can cast their ballot safely, securely, and with confidence.
We offer a special thank you to Shirley N. Weber, Ph.D., California Secretary of State, and Dean Logan, Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk for Los Angeles County, as well as all 58 county elections officials across California, for their unwavering commitment to accessible and reliable elections. We stand with you.
