The League of Women Voters of West Contra Costa County enthusiastically endorses WCCUSD Measure V on the November 3 ballot! Measure V is not a new tax — it renews the existing school parcel tax (7.2¢ per square foot, about $10.2 million a year for our schools) for nine years. It needs a two-thirds vote to pass; if it fails, the current parcel tax expires June 30, 2027. Make your plan to vote: • Vote centers open October 24 • Mail your ballot by October 27 • Election Day is November 3 — polls open 7 AM to 8 PM • Mailed ballots count if postmarked by November 3 and received by November 10. Your vote is your voice.
