This is the LWV of TN statement on the new law that required Election Officials to place a sign at each polling place warning voters about voting in the August 1st. Primary. The LWV of TN is currently in litigation over this requirement.

The League of Women Voters of Missouri Education Fund has expanded its resources to help voters across the state cast an informed ballot in 2024 elections.

ACLU-Tennessee has published a press release detailing a demand letter that has been sent to Tennessee Coordinator of Elections Mark Goins and Secretary of State Tre Hargett.

Earlier this month over 14,000 naturalized Tennessee citizens received letters from the TN Secretary of State's office notifying them that their status did not match the records from the DMV database.  Does this feel like voter intimidation?  We believe the answer is yes.
4th of July Parade

Come bring your red, white, and blue best and march with us in the July 4th parade in Nevada City. We'll have VOTE signs for you to carry and will be joining the Marching Presidents and other fabulous Nevada County organizations to spread the message that your vote matters.
