The League of Women Voters of North Carolina has released two new animated videos that walk voters through the election process, with particular attention paid to what's new in 2024. 

Misinformation and disinformation are two of the most insidious tools used to undermine our democracy and the proliferation of information sources – particularly on social media – requires voters and the general public to develop a new set of media literacy skills.

NORRISTOWN, PA — Montgomery County will hire 15 new public defenders and numerous support staff and a social worker as part of a major investment into the office, which it calls "historic."
