Women's Equality Day is the anniversary of the day women were granted the right to vote. The amendment to the constitution because law on August 26, 1920. On August 26, 1971, U.S. Representative Bella Abzug introduced the bill that would designate August 26 Women’s Equality Day.

The 2021 redistricting cycle has begun.

As we’ve been forecasting for most of the past year, the actual map-drawing part of the redistricting is now on our doorstep. The 2020 Census data arrived at state legislatures on Thursday, August 12.
