Join the LWVCA on a tour of Gorman Heritage Farm at 5:30pm on Wednesday, October 19.  10052 Reading Road.

Gorman Heritage Farm is a working farm with the mission to educate about agriculture, nutrition, sustainability and the environment. In addition to a fun fall tour of the Farm, we will learn about Regenerative Agriculture - a system of farming principles and practices that seeks to rehabilitate and enhance the entire ecosystem. It is a strategy to save exhausted farmland, reverse the negative effects of industrial agriculture, and sequester atmospheric carbon in the soil to mitigate climate change.
