Bridget Susel, Kent Community Development Director, reported the following:
- Block grant, August 2022 to July 2023
- Kent spent $492,000. All money spent to benefit low and moderate-income members of the community.
- The moneys were spent as follows:
- $127,000 for housing rehabilitation to rental housing;
- $320,000 infrastructure improvements, walnut phase project
- $41,000 public such as homeless services at Miller House
- $38,000 general administrative costs and training
