Format: In-person

Meeting Summary:

PUBLIC COMMENT

A resident of Hudson Road had questions about the Hudson Road project and asked if the latest information could be regularly added to the Township website. He also asked if the meeting agendas could be posted to the website in advance so people could decide whether to come to each meeting. Mr. Swan said both concerns would be addressed.

A Birkner Drive resident who is also a representative of the Twin Lakes Association thanked Mr. Ackerley for coming to a TLA meeting. He also asked about a new house on Sylvan Drive which is not yet landscaped and so during each rain mud runoff is problematic. Mr. Ackerley will check it out.

A Brady Lake area resident thanked Mr. Ackerley for fixing the burned-out lights in the area.

A Mockingbird Drive resident reported that road conditions are becoming dangerous. Trustees and the crew will be making roads a priority in the coming months.

A Twin Lakes area resident reported that an empty house on West Boulevard has both decking and a porch which are collapsing and becoming a hazard. Mr. Ciccozzi will check it out.

FIRE: The fire alarm panel in the Township Hall needs to be replaced; in the meantime, we will do a fire watch while in the building.

ZONING: JBL roofing is building an addition. Two Brady Lake area properties with the same owner are under complaint from neighbors. There have been many calls related to the property near Cox Road; no site plans have been submitted.

ROAD: Work is being done on a grant application for new facilities at Phillips Park. Mr. Ackerley is proposing to do brush pick-up bi-monthly instead of monthly. This will help make road repair a higher priority for the road crew. Both trustees present voted yes on this proposal.

CORRESPONDENCE: A Diagonal Road resident called to express concern about the current speed limit of 40 mph given that there has been a good deal of development in the area since that limit was set. We will reach out to the County Engineer’s office for an opinion.

FINANCES: A levy renewal to be put on the ballot for November 2023 was moved and approved by both trustees present.
