Meeting Summary:

Vouchers 7909 through 7922 were approved.

New Business: The petitions for Eric Dreger and John Kuhar as indipendent candidates for Kent City Council-at-large were approved. Both will be listed as non-party candidates.

One individual who ran in the Kent City Council-at-large primary as a Republican requested a Democratic ballot during the primary election. This issue has been referred to the Portage County Prosecutor.

The office security policy was reviewed and approved. Motion was made by Amanda.

Two proposals for written job descriptions have been received. The organizations sending proposals are located in Washington, DC and Louisiana. One proposal was for $20,000 and the other for $12,000. Amanda moved to obtain some local proposals. The motion passed.

The non-filing of a campaign finance report has been referred to the prosecutor's office.

OAEO has nominated Randi Clites to attend the Academy for Public Officials at Ohio State University. Up to $400 was approved to cover the cost of meals and mileage. The motion made by Amanda was approved.
