Meeting Summary:
Parents were given the opportunity to express their objections to the mask mandate implemented by the district. These objections were countered with facts from the CDC outlining the benefits of mask-wearing. The primary objectives of the mandate are to keep staff and students healthy and to keep the schools open for in-person learning. The superintendent said he would handle the ongoing objections and would review the mandate on a monthly basis as the data warrants. The remainder of the meeting dealt with fiscal and basic school operations.
