Meeting Summary:

Candidates for the November general election (75 day filers) were all accepted to be on the November ballot. Candidates in overlapping counties (Summit, Mahoning, Stark, were also approved for the November ballot. Write-in candidates in Ravenna, Streetsboro, Hiram, Brimfield, and Mantua were also accepted for the ballot.

For the post-election audit, precincts were randomly selected for review. A total of 46,293 votes were cast in the August election. A minimum of 5% of those ballot must be audited. They will be from Aurora 2B, Randolph Twp, Aurora 3B, Rootstown Twp, and Palmyra Twp, for a total of 2521 ballots.

There will be a very short audit results meeting on 9/12. The next meeting will be 9/20.

It is expected that the ballot for the November general election will have a number of items.
