The support for democracy rally on Jan. 6, 2023, will be an all community event co-sponsored by several local nonpartisan group. The rally will focus on vigilance and a call for protecting voters and election officials and to support a free, fair and open election process. Meet Jan. 6, 6:30 p.m., at the First Christian Church, 335 W. Main St., Kent, for a nonpartisan gathering.
