Committee Scope and Responsibilities: The Environment Committee reviews current League positions concerning natural resources, and--in particular--local land use and zoning. When new action might be needed, we propose new League studies on environmental issues. As climate change and environmental degradation loom over our communities, our committee is looking to sharpen our positions to guide local policies. We are actively studying our positions for 2020 and would love to have League members join us who are passionate about the environment. |
