We are looking for marchers! Just like old times! Literally! Help celebrate the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment by marching in the Kent State University Homecoming parade. The parade also will feature floats, Kent State and local high school marching bands, university colleges and departments, Kent State cheerleaders and athletes, student organizations, local officials, and more! The grand marshal and homecoming court anchor the parade, which steps off at 10 a.m. from the corner of Midway Drive and Main Street.
You will need to be in line by 9:30 a.m. The best place to park is at the Education Building (failing that anywhere you can find clode to Midway) and walk toward Midway Drive where parade units will be assembling.
