Ms.Kariko is half of the pioneering research team that worked out how to deliver vaccines viamessenger RNA (mRNA) – including, of course, the COVID vaccine. She is an Abingtonresident and a Nobel prize winner! Her topic is the title of her recent book, Breaking Through –what it took to get through a toxic work environment on her path to that Nobel Prize. We highly recommend the book – you will be amazed by her focus and her patient, stubborn determination.
