4,600 Pennsylvanians are injured or killed every year from gun violence. Maybe you or a loved one has been directly harmed by this crisis? Or maybe you feel communal trauma and mourning for the sense of safety that we’ve all lost?

It doesn’t have to be this way.

We’re proud to partner with CeasefirePA, the Commonwealth’s gun violence prevention organization, to demand our lawmakers take action at the PA State Capitol in Harrisburg on Tuesday, May 7th. Will you take a stand with us and attend End Gun Violence: PA Advocacy Day?

Your voice needs to be heard – and it makes a difference. After last year’s March For Our Lives: PA Advocacy Day, where 500 Pennsylvanians took over the Capitol, we saw the most significant gun safety policies in years – if not decades – passed by the PA House with bipartisan support. That happened largely because of that single day and the advocates who pushed for action in the weeks that followed.

But the legislation hasn't hit Governor Shapiro’s desk yet and is languishing in the PA Senate. And more life-saving policies to rein in ghost guns, keep kids safe, and stop straw purchases are awaiting final votes by the PA House.

So we’re heading back to Harrisburg to keep building momentum and strengthen our movement to end gun violence in Pennsylvania.

On May 7th, you’ll meet with legislative offices and attend a mid-day rally on the front steps of the Capitol with elected leaders, survivors, youth, faith leaders, medical professionals, and other advocates to demand policies that would make Pennsylvania safer.

Once you sign up, you’ll receive more information about transportation options (including buses and carpools), online training to prepare for your meetings, and an exciting list of speakers for the rally.

Sign up today to join us.
