On May 7 there will be a reenactment of the Woman's Suffrage Parade in Knoxville. A 102 year celebration of women gaining the right to vote, the parade marks an important milestone both in our own history and the history of our country.

The parade will line up at 3:00 - 3:30. At 5:00 the participants will proceed down Gay Street, turn onto Clinch Avenue, then right onto Market Street. The parade route will pass the Burn Memorial and the Tennessee Woman Suffrage Memorial ending in Market Square for a Suffrage Program. The beginning route will be decided closer to the May date due to possible construction in the area.
