At Women’s Equality Day, we honor a woman who has been successful in a field not normally populated by women.  This year’s awardee is Danielle Bergstrom, Founder, Executive Director, and Editor-in-Chief at the non-profit news organization, Fresnoland. 

We also honor a longtime volunteer with the Werner Lipton Award for Advocacy.  

This year’s Lipton awardee is Debbie Darden, chair of the Golden Westside Planning Committee, community advocate and champion for west Fresno.  

Finally, we also recognize this year's Ruth Bader Ginsburg Scholarship award winner at San Joaquin College of Law, Kamaryn Maltes.
