LOS ANGELES, CA; WASHINGTON, DC — League of Women Voters of California President Chris Carson and League of Women Voters of the US CEO Celina Stewart issued the following joint statement in response to the deploying of National Guard troops against largely peaceful protestors in Los Angeles County. 

LA Charter Commission

The Los Angeles City Charter Commission is tasked with reviewing the City Charter and developing recommendations for amendments and revisions for consideration by the City Council and Mayor.
