Annual Meeting

Each year the League of Women Voters of Humboldt County members gather to conduct annual business meeting: review the budget, elect board members and offices, and approve the program for 2017-2018 League year.

State of the Community Luncheon

Each year, at the State of the Community Luncheon, the League of Women Voters of Humboldt County honors individuals and/or groups for contributing to our community.

Meet Your Elected Officials

Did you ever wonder who are the people counting the votes during election? Ever thought to yourself: what does the District Attorney do anyways? This event features two elected officials in a a one-on-one interview sharing what they do, how the public benefits from their offered services, and how the public can interact with them. Questions are gathered in advance of the events as well as during the interview.

Meet Your Elected 2015 featured District Attorney, Maggie Fleming, and County Clerk-Recorder, and Registrar of Voters, Kelly Sanders. Each of the guests had a one-on-one interview with long time local journalist Ryan Burns.
