Is there a more controversial political issue in this 2020 election cycle? 

Professor Chacon will provide background on current immigration policy and discuss the possible impact of various reform proposals. She will also explore the question of the legal changes necessary to acheive truly comprehensive immigration reform.

Jennifer Chacon, is Professor of Law at UCLA School of Law, her area of focus has encompassed Immigration law, Constitutional law, and Criminal law and procedure. Her writings have included the topics of citizenship, immigration, border control, and human trafficking. She serves on the American Association of Law School's section on immigration, and on the 9th Circuit Advsory Committee.
