Thanks to many of our Coast members and friends of the League, we exceeded our goal of raising $5,000 to a total of $5,520 - so with our $5,000 matching donation, we provided $10,520 to our local food bank, Second Harvest!   See this letter of thanks from them:  LINK

This Holiday Season, the League of Women Voters of Orange Coast sponsored a virtual food drive to support Second Harvest Food Bank of Orange County.   The mission of Second Harvest is to end hunger in Orange County!  This is especially critical given the increased food insecurity experienced by our neighbors, friends, relatives who rely on SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) benefits.
