As we wrap up another election season, the Voter Services Committee would like to thank all the volunteers who gave their time and energy to register and educate voters. We again worked hard to do what the League does best: get out the vote.

  • We went to numerous high schools and colleges to interact with and engage students.
  • We also held voter registration events at street fairs, a food pantry, an employment center, and a local parole office.
  • Several volunteers will answer voters’ questions and provide election information through our Voter Hotline.
  • Over four thousand postcards were addressed and mailed to low-propensity registered voters in our service area, encouraging them to vote in the midterms.

We could not do the work we do without our volunteers that work tirelessly to help support voter registration and education. Once again, we thank Martha Zavala for her hard work, vision, and leadership skills to make this a successful voting campaign.

And, since you will get this before Election Day, don’t forget to VOTE BY NOVEMBER 8!
