This year the LWVC, together with Drive Clean California, is cohosting Drive Clean with the League, an event designed to increase awareness of the importance and benefits of EV driving. Those who attend this virtual event will learn how to improve air quality and reduce carbon emissions by switching to electric vehicles (EVs). Making the commitment to drive free of carbon emissions is perhaps the most important step a California resident can take to mitigate climate change.

This one-hour Zoom event will feature:

  • EV and e-bike owners sharing their experiences
  • Reports on the latest trends, costs, and considerations when moving to electric driving
  • Experts discussing government incentives
  • Solutions for residents living in apartments
  • Additional financial incentives for disadvantaged communities
  • Debunking of common EV myths
  • How to receive priority placement for Drive Clean’s EV Discount Program (the next discount program will be in November 2021)

Events are scheduled for:

The Natural Resources Committee enthusiastically encourages League members to participate in Drive Clean with the League. You can learn more and register here.
