Election Systems Study: LWV California commenced a study of voting systems for electing legislative bodies and executive officers at both the state and local levels. LWV-PA was a member of this committee. The summary is here.

We continue to work on educating the public and elected officials about the benefits of Instant Runoff Voting (IRV), with the goal of getting IRV adopted for Pasadena local elections.
 
IRV is a fair way to elect a single candidate when there are more than two choices.

IRV allows you to vote for the candidate you like without helping to elect the candidate you don’t.
