For each statewide election, the League of Women Voters of Texas creates presentations and bookmarks for local Leagues and organizations to use for voter education.
Presentation
- Individualized for each local League
- Discusses voter turnout in your area compared to Texas and the nation, the impact of low voter turnout, and why an individual's vote counts.
- Includes important dates for the November election and voter information websites
Bookmark
- Provides election dates and deadlines, voter information websites, photo ID information, county election office website(s) and telephone number (space permitting)
- Is two-sided and may be printed professionally or by a home printer.
- Home printing instructions:
- Use 8½" x 11" cardstock paper.
- English language bookmark. Set printer to landscape orientation and two-sided printing. Use paper cutter/trimmer with a guide to cut each page into four bookmarks
- Spanish language bookmark. Set printer to portrait orientation and two-sided printing. Use paper cutter/trimmer with a guide to cut each page into two bookmarks.
