WHERE: The Festival Center, 1640 Columbia Road, Washington DC, 20009. The venue is handicap-accessible and there is a wheelchair ramp at the entrance. Our meeting room is near the entrance and no steps are involved.
WHEN: Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 10:00am to 12:00noon.
Members must be present to vote and registration is required for admission to the meeting (member and non-members). Light refreshments will be served.
After the business portion of the meeting is adjourned, we are delighted that Dianna Wynn (see bio below) will do a presentation on "Framing the Future of the League in Our Democracy".
In an increasingly divisive political landscape, the League of Women Voters plays a critically important role in defending and advancing our democracy. As a 103-year-old organization, the League is poised to grow the organization, increase its influence, and more effectively face the challenges of the 21st century.
