RESOURCES For LWVNCA Member Leagues

LWV of National Capital Area Logo-red,blue

We have created this page to serve as a reference for LWVNCA documents and events for member Leagues and their members.  Individual LWVNCA documents like Bylaws, Positions, etc. are also listed in the ABOUT US part of this website, but including them here makes finding them easier.  Recent events, such as previous LWVNCA Annual Conventions and associated documents, Liaison Reports, and information about the Naumann Award are shown here as sub-pages. We've added the "Centennial Page" to Resources --see bottom of list.  We hope you find this information useful.

  • Helping Voters Get to the Polls, March 2022

The LWVNCA Board had several discussions earlier this year about ways to help voters get to the polls.  Several Board members worked on summarizing these discussions as a resource for our member leagues.  The result  is the attached memo entitled  "Addressing Equity: Ideas for Helping Voters Who Need Transportation on Election Day” (March 2022).  We hope that you will make this memo available to committees and members within your League who are working on this issue. PDF icon Click here to read or download the full report.
