Janet Mason, League of Women Voters Hawaii member, was quoted in an article, "Lobbying And Ethics Reforms Top Agenda At New Hawaii Standards Commission Meeting," by Blaze Lovell in Honolulu Civil Beat.

Mason is one of nine members of the Commission to Improve Standards of Conduct, which is "expected to spend the rest of the year examining election laws, campaign finance and other areas for potential government reforms."  The commission was created by the House to "examine government practices after federal prosecutors charged two former lawmakers with taking part in a bribery scheme to influence wastewater legislation."
