Matt Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder's Community Zoom Meeting 5-28-24,
6-7 PM was attended by eight citizens of Puna.

The discussion involved the delay of the ‘connecting roads' between
rural developments and 'alternate routes' for emergency evacuation. An
eleven-million-dollar bond has been allocated for 'connecting roads.' 
Two million of that is for 'alternate routes.'  Councilman
Kaneali'i-Kleinfelder displayed a document with the history of the
funding for these roads which included the dates such legislation was
passed.

Keaau has been designated as a mass transportation hub.
