Maile David, Hawaii County Council Chair and Member (District 6), spoke on her journey to public service, the Hawaiian Sovereignty movement, housing, and other topics at the General Meeting of the League of Women Voters of Hawai`i County on August 6, 2022. Ms. David is in her final council term. Because she is not campaigning this year, her presentation to us was not a political activity. Her presentation was followed by Q&A.
