From the Hawaii Tribune-Herald, June 13th, 2020:

In preparation for the upcoming elections, the League of Women Voters of Hawaii offers a nonpartisan election resource: www.VOTE411.org. This “one-stop-shop” website for election information provides simple, helpful tools to assist Hawaii voters to navigate the voting process. VOTE411 provides candidate information, a voter registration tool and other helpful election information.

“Hawaii voters need simple, accessible tools to help inform them before Election Day,” said Donna Oba, Hawaii’s VOTE411 coordinator. “Vote411 is the nation’s premier online election resource, and the League of Women Voters of Hawaii has published the voter guide on VOTE411 to serve as a resource for voters throughout the state of Hawaii.”

The League of Women Voters is a 100-year-old nonpartisan organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues and influences public policy through education and advocacy. VOTE411 helps millions of voters each year, many of them young first-time voters, learn about candidate positions, look up what’s on their ballot and more.

“The League of Women Voters of Hawaii is pleased to provide this important, nonpartisan resource to Hawaii voters,” Oba said.

“We encourage voters to visit www.VOTE411.org to be prepared to vote when they receive their ballot for the Aug. 8, 2020, Hawaii primary election.”
